Curriculum: Aleph Champ Hebrew Reading, Jewish Holidays and basic Jewish practices.

TT1 - Talmud Torah Aleph - Grades 1-2

Curriculum: Aleph Champ Hebrew Reading and our new curriculum "Adventure Through Torah"

TT2 - Talmud Torah Bet -  Grades 3-5

Meets Sundays from 10:00 -12:00pm & Tuesdays 4:15 - 5:45pm

TT3 - Talmud Torah Gimmel - Grade 6

Meets Sundays 10:00 - 12:00pm 

Curriculum: Key Jewish Principles, Practices & Ideas

Teacher: Rabbis Binyomin Weiss & Bentzion Groner

Bar Mitzvah Club - Grades 7-8 (Boys):

Meets Every Other Thursdays 7:00 - 8:30pm

Curriculum: Hands on activities such as Sukkah Bulding, Tzitzis Workshop, Tefillin Guide, Community Tzedakah Projects, The  World of Kosher and a Special Israel Workshop. Each class will include a combination of study with Q&A sessions as well as some fun and educational activities.

Please Note: The Talmud Torah Hebrew School is here to serve children whose families are Members of Ohr HaTorah and are currently not enrolled in the Charlotte Jewish Day School.  Since Talmud Torah is limited to a once or twice-a-week program, it is important to point out that it does not replace a Jewish Day School education.
